Cub Scout Pack 148 of Woodbury, NY is located in the Lower Hudson Valley region. We are a member of the Hudson-Delaware District, within the Greater Hudson Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Our Chartering organization is the Woodbury Lions Club.
We are a family pack that is open to boys and girls. We average about 20-30 Cub Scouts a year with ages ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Our scouts live primarily in the towns of Woodbury, Monroe, Chester and Harriman New York.

Our activities are primarily centered around the Monroe-Woodbury community and its resources. We avidly participate in local parades, town events, as well as district and council events. We have an active outdoor program, with 2-3 campouts a year, monthly hikes (March-November), and multiple other outdoor activities scheduled each year.
Our Wolves work with Den Chiefs from Troop 440 to learn how citizenship starts in your local neighborhood.
Our scout meetings are held during the school year. Each Den (grade level) meets once or twice monthly, then all of the Dens and family members gather for a Pack Meeting once a month. The pack meeting is under the direction of the Cubmaster. Our meetings are currently held at Central Valley Elementary School, First Presbyterian Church in Monroe, the VFW in Harriman or The Gatehouse in Central Valley. Additionally, a committee of volunteer parent leaders meets monthly to plan and organize upcoming events.

Interested in possibly volunteering as an adult leader? We'd love to have your help! Without volunteers, THERE IS NO PACK! The only requirements for leadership are that you love your child and believe in the values of Cub Scouting. Beyond that, we give you all the tools you need to be a successful volunteer leader... you will not have to go it alone!
